With Hong Kong as Higuchi Koutarou, Taiwan as Uemashi Koboshi, China as Ayanakouji Takashi (Ten-chan), Korea as Misha, Japan as Shia, and Shinatty-chan (kinda) as Nya

Korea's hair is hard to draw X_x And... the heights are Pita Ten accurate rather than Hetalia accurate... d'oh! The lead smudged like crazy on this one, probably because I picked and picked and picked at this one. I redid Korea's skirt twice, and I redid Japan's shawl three times. At first I didn't know that Shia's hat had a gigantic bow at the back (since I was referencing the Pita Ten art book), so I kinda just drew some more parts of the shawl. Then when I was rewatching the anime, in the opening Shia turns around and I found out that yes, there is a huge bow. So I erased what I did before and drew the stupid bow. Then the more I looked at it, the more it looked lopsided, so I redid it again X.x I had to cover this picture up with another piece of paper to stop myself from picking at it.

About three weeks ago, I was stalker-browsing the Hetalia Kink Meme archive and suddenly the question of 'why are there so many Japanese school girl fanarts but no gothic lolita?' I tossed around the idea of requesting it, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to draw these myself, especially when Piyoko!Poland popped into my head (gothic lolita = Koge-Donbo in my mind). I was gonna stop there, but then the idea kept growing and growing until I ended up doing 3 fanart pieces @_@

I haven't drawn fanart in 7 years, but somehow I've become so enamored with Hetalia that I couldn't help it X.x I put my life on hold for three weeks to learn how to draw everyone and the outfits, and I'm glad at these are finally, finally done.
